Before going out on his own as a talent rep in 2015, he was Head of Talent and Casting at Adult Swim/Cartoon Network, working on diverse shows with the top names in comedy, such as Children's Hospital, Rick and Morty, The Eric Andre Show, and Adventure Time.
From 2009 to 2012, Jonathan was Manager of Talent and Casting at MTV Networks, overseeing talent on Awkward, Teen Wolf, The Inbetweeners, America's Best Dance Crew and Ridiculousness. During his time in New York, Groce won several Emmy awards as Casting Director and Producer for Ca$h Cab for Discovery Channel in NY, where he started his career developing unscripted talent for companies such as Lion Television, Zero Point Zero, and Lucky Duck Productions.
Jonathan loves a hands on approach with all of his clients, and whether its a challenging notes call on how to find your character in an audition scene, or the words on the page are not quite revealing the truth you seek, he works tirelessly to amplify the story you want to tell, and then find a place for you to share it with the world. At the end of the day, through laughter and hard work, Jonathan believes this is the entertainment industry afterall Talent is here to entertain and to be entertained, and Jonathan loves keeping the story going, through editing, rehearsing, and a thoughtful strategy on how to finally present it to the world.
